FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: WHAT HAPPENS AFTER VSOM?
A: The courses that students take in Victory School of Ministry allow them to pursue ministerial credentials with either the Assemblies of God or the Legacy (NxL) Network, which is VCC's own credentialing organization. Upon graduation, there are also many opportunities that open for students to go on staff at churches locally or go to the mission field. Due to VCC and VSOM's well-established name among area churches, doors open for students to serve as worship leaders, youth and children pastors, etc.
Q: DOES VSOM HAVE AN AGE LIMIT?
A: VSOM is designed primarily for young adults. The last year someone can start VSOM is age 26.
Q: IS THERE FINANCIAL AID?
A: FAFSA and student loans are not an option for students. Students raise money through a variety of ways, like work, support letters, gifts, and help from parents. There is also a 10% discount for members of any of the eight Victory campuses.
Q: MAY I VISIT THE CAMPUS?
A: Victory School of Ministry has a few Campus Visit Days throughout the school year. Let us know through the "Contact" tab if you're interested in coming!
Q: WHEN DOES VSOM START AND FINISH?
A: VSOM starts every year at the end of August and concludes at the end of May. The 2017-2018 school year starts August 25, 2017 and ends May 20, 2018.
Q: WHEN IS THE APPLICATION DEADLINE?
A: Students must apply by July 31, 2017 to be eligible for the new VSOM school year. Students can apply as early as their junior year of high school.
